The chartered purposes of The United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® include protecting members' rights to be uniquely identified as the only Moo Duk Kwan organization in the USA and the exclusive source of authentic instruction and certifications in the Hwang Kee's Korean Soo Bahk Do martial art system. Since its inception in 1976 the Federation has encountered multiple trademark infringers seeking to hijack the Moo Duk Kwan® name and long-standing reputation for their own advantage and when all attempts at amicable resolution have failed, then legal action has sometimes been necessary. One particular case required substantial resources in order to prevail and Moo Duk Kwan® Preservationists stepped up to provide much needed support during that time. For a limited time, you too, can join them and become a Moo Duk Kwan® Preservationist with your $3000 contribution or by converting your Lifetime membership to Moo Duk Kwan® Preservationist status and in doing so you will make a lasting contribution to the preservation of the unique Moo Duk Kwan® identity and the Soo Bahk Do® martial art system.
You can read about the case that called for Moo Duk Kwan® Preservationists to step forward here.
You can read about the victory and outcome that members and Moo Duk Kwan Preservationists made possible here.
You can still join them and become part of this important history.
For a limited time supporters who commit to a total donation of $3000 (even when paid in installment payments) qualify to be listed in Founder Hwang Kee's autobiography as a Moo Duk Kwan®Preservationist when it is published.
If you are a Lifetime Member of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®, then you can donate the difference between what you paid for your Lifetime Membership and the $3000 threshold and be listed as a Moo Duk Kwan® Preservationist in Moo Duk Kwan® Founder Hwang Kee's autobiography.
